HOW TO MOTIVATE STUDENTS
how to motivate students |
Everyone knows that it is not easy to teach students. But
motivating them is also a difficult task. Whether you are studying in 8th class
or in a professional school, it is equally challenging to motivate students to
work and read on their own. But there are many ways in which students make
studies more fun and pleasant.
Create a positive and supportive environment
1. Understand why it is such a big challenge to motivate students: Students meet many people in their
life who do "teacher" work in their life. Everybody and everybody
tries to work hard, to encourage them, to get them working and to transform
them into people whom the whole world noses. Due to such interference, students
are often finding their identity and everyone doubts who tries to influence
them.
Once he identifies him, he adopts a policy to handle this
pressure, "You will then have an influence in your life when you believe
me that you deserve it". This policy is one way to make sure that he
always speak to the right person. This policy becomes a problem when an evil
person tries to influence them or a good person is unable to put his influence
on them.
2. Leave a positive impression: If you want to encourage
students, then you have to prove why they should listen to you. They will doubt
you on the first day, but you have to try to win their trust and respect. For
this, you have to do something that will attract their attention to you. You
should look different and focus your attention on your side and keep it up.
Some easy ways to put a positive impression on students are written below:
Present your point correctly. Make an opinion and keep it in
front of everyone at the right time. Do not speak too much or give your opinion
everywhere. You should look at them as you are very sensible, educated and
fearless. Do not show yourself like you are very arrogant and self-centered.
Become passionate about what you are teaching. Teacher's big
eyes, light humor and a passion for students is very happy. Even if they are
not interested in your subject, then your behavior will make them happy. From
above, if you express your love towards your subject, then he will consider you
as "true."
Be passionate. Maintaining passion is a very good feeling.
If the teacher teaches the students with the mind, it will be difficult to get
rid of them. Try that you have the strength in which you can present yourself
and your subject in front of them right.
Focus on your costumes. You have to leave an indelible
impression on others; Remember that when you enter the classroom, look good.
Try to look a bit different from an ordinary person.
3. Take a religious decision: Do a little more than what a
simple teacher does. For example, if any student is struggling to finish his
work from time to time, then call him separately next time, and understand his
full assignment with him. Help him in writing assignments and discovering him
and show him and the students what he has done. Doing so solves many problems;
For example, if the attitude of the student is wrong, then you are reducing the
chances of making excuses to him and if he is really having trouble in the end
of the work, then he will understand how to face it.
Listen carefully, answer each of their questions and know
that they have understood your actions. Explain to them that you will not do
such things again with them. Ask them whether they have understood this and
when they agree, let them go.
But remember that by doing this the students do not take
advantage of you. Do whatever you want to help but if you feel that doing so
will affect your principles, then stop yourself.
4. Please provide as much information as you can about your
subject: If you want that the student is encouraged about your subject, then
you will have to teach him a little more than the curriculum. Tell students
about any new activities happening in your subject. For example, if you are a
teacher of science, you can bring 1) any article for reading in class or 2)
Give them a summary of the article, show pictures related to him, ask questions
related to him and ask for some sentences and if any If the student wants that
article, then give it to him after class. The second option is a good way to
encourage students.
You need to understand that this is your job that the
interest of students in this topic is not large and that article.
5. Give an assignment that gives students a chance to think
differently: Give them a task that is fun and different to them. For example,
you can make a drama related to the science of your class (or whatever subject)
that they can show before the younger children. The whole class can write a
book which you can publish and donate to the library nearby.
Just keep in mind these ideas are a little bit different.
You have to do all this at the time of class or in school time (to save time)
and you have to do this work together with everyone.
6. Become a little funny: By becoming funny, you will be
able to feel the students' mind, the subject will become interesting and you
will be able to easily create a relationship with them. The truth is that if you
are always serious, then it will be very difficult for you to connect with you
and pay attention to you. This does not mean that you should make fun of
everything but if you make the learning environment more fun then it will be
easily encouraged and will soon follow your teaching.

7. Prove yourself to be worthy: You have to reassure
students that they are worth listening to you, especially when you are
encouraging them towards your subject. You have to show your skills. You are
not just a teacher, you are very
qualified and accomplished in your work. Show exactly what you would like to
show for a job interview. Be humble but do not hide this thing. Keep in mind
that while talking to them, you are proud of your own experience. Call them if
you have some interesting people. Do not tell them to give a speech just like
just an interview.
If your students feel that you are not aware of your
subject, then they will become lazy at the time of assignments and think that
you will not read the assignments written properly.
8. Note the students who need more assurance: If a student
feels sick or unhappy, then meet him after class and ask him if he is not
right. When you do this, show them as if you are a little busy. Look at them,
but do not stare at them until they answer. If they say that they are OK then
more inquiries are not needed. Just say, "I felt that you are upset"
and then continued to work on the issue. You think that this thing is enough
for them.
If a student will see that you care so much about him and you
have paid attention to him then this thing will encourage him to work hard. If
the student feels that you do not care about his feelings then he will not want
to work hard.
If any student is in trouble then change some rules. You
need to show some concern for this, but it is easy to win trust. If a student
is not doing his job again and again he comes and says that he has not worked, then you should understand that something is
wrong (even if the student's poetry is wrong) and help him. Let them quietly finish
the work and give time and make the subject a bit easier. Suppose that it will
have to break the rules, but this will reduce the fear of not repeating it.
Tell him clearly that you will not give him such a concession again.
9. Ask students to present their opinion: If students feel
that you are giving them only speeches and you do not care, they will not be
encouraged. If you ask him about any political activity, book or any scientific
purpose, he will surely be able to speak the happiness of his mind. If they
think that you are interested in knowing their opinion, then they will express
your thoughts with you gladly.
Keep in mind that for a good conversation it is necessary
that the conversation has some existence. Try to prove that the umbrellas have
proof to prove their point of view.
Of course, if you are teaching mathematics or foreign
language, it is very difficult for the students to give their opinion, then
tell the appropriate information related to that subject in the classroom. For
example, if you are studying in class 8 students, you can write articles
written about the best ways to read them.
10. Discuss a whole time in the classroom: If you always
give a speech, then the student will distance you from you. If you have to
encourage students, then you should discuss the topics of meaning in class. Do
not ask the whole class, ask a student from different names with different
names. None of the students wants that when their name is taken, then they do
not have the answer to the question, so every student will be involved in this
discussion right from the fear.
This will not only make the students read all the
information before class but they will be happy before coming to class because
they know that their opinion is recognized here.
11. Before you admire the students, know them well: For
example, if you go to a class and tell the students that you know that they are
all very good and in this class they will know how the world can be changed.
But you will lose your respect in their eyes. He will think that when you did
not try to know him then how do you know how he is? How do you tell them how to
change the world when you have not told them about the world right now. If he is thinking that he is thinking right
about.
Often teachers are all students for teachers, so they talk
in most ways, but every student is different for a good teacher.
Do not talk about "some of you students" in this
manner ("some lawyers, some doctors etc."). Give this speech when you
have only a few classes left with them and then talk about them with their
name.
Make a little laugh and express to the students that you
know a few things about everyone. These are your expectations from these
students, the way you proved yourself to them, in the same way "they"
have proved themselves to you.
12. Let the students realize how it affects the world on
your subject: Make them face-to-face with the real feelings they were not aware
of. Discuss the issues related to people, society, country and the world.
Participate with any such thing that you may find necessary, from which you can
encourage them. Now that you have won their trust and have decided that if you
are eligible to listen then they will listen to you. Even if they do not agree
with any of you, they will definitely try that.
You will find it difficult to encourage your students when
they see your topic. It may be that if your subject is history or literature,
then you can not understand them in the daily life of Marra. Bring an article
or a book's survey and show them that whatever he is learning affects the
external world. If they know the experiments related to the subject, their
interest in them will increase.
Keep the challenges in front
1. Make the students knowledgeable about any topic: You will
be surprised that if students are asked to present their information alone or
group on any subject, then how encouraged they are. He will be happy that he
has been given this responsibility. Creating a project or presentation outside
the classroom increases the curiosity of learning in students and this easy way
is to understand the curriculum.
If students present a subject, the other students will also
be encouraged to learn. Many times students get bored by seeing you standing
there and by doing so they get a new happiness.
2. Encourage work to work together: By working together,
students will know each other, will look at their information with a new
perspective and will be encouraged to succeed. If a student is working alone
then he will not feel so much pressure to be successful as many students will
be feeling with him (where he has a responsibility). By doing so you can complete the same course by
explaining the same course.
You can also make a good competition in groups. Whether it
is any challenge you will see how encouraged students are to be included in it
and how to try to answer the correct answer.
3. Give more points of assignment: By doing more digit
assignments, students will get an opportunity to take their knowledge to a
different height. For example, if you are a teacher of chemistry and you know
some students are suffering, then give a
book related to a fun topic to the students. In such a way, students will be
able to understand science in a different way, and this will be even better for
them.
You give students such assignments which are to be used more
to your subject. For example, if you study English, give more marks to students
who have read and understood the text of a poem in their community. Ask them to
tell this to all and the students are encouraged to do so.
4. Option: Students are more encouraged when they are given
options in their work. With options, they feel that their knowledge and
encouragement are in their control. Give them the option of choosing them or
give them the option of different subjects for the next assignment or essay.
Students will also like this and will keep their hold on your subject.
5. Support: If you want to encourage students, then your
opinion should be clear and meaningful. If they come to know of their strengths
and weaknesses, then they will be encouraged to move forward, instead of giving
them just points on the assignment. Take the time to make them realize how much
their success matters to you and you want them to improve.
If you have the time, then students should check for their
progress. By giving such personal attention, they will feel that you care about
them and you are paying attention to their work.
6. Reveal your expectations correctly: Show students what
they want in clear directions and showing old assignments. If they do not know
what you want, they will not be encouraged to perform well. With clear
instructions and a teacher who is ready to answer all his questions, he will be
very encouraged.
Keep explaining the assignment after answering the
questions. Students will show it as they all know, but if you ask them, then
you will know that there is a scope and explanation.

7. Mix things together in the classroom: Speech is easy but
if you mix things in the classroom then the students will be very encouraged.
For example, you can drop them from the book for 10-15 minutes, and after that
give an assignment to the groups in which all the things learned will be
repeated. After that you can show the video to the students or ask them to come
and board on the board. Students will be very excited and happy with such
programs.
Create a task list for every class, whether it is on paper
or on board. It shows students what is going to be taught next.
Advice
1.
Show your effort very simple. Whether you are
speaking, studying, listening or doing anything, it seems that there is no hard
work to do in this.
2.
Do not get annoyed with every misbehavior. Your
students should feel like their studies are more elementary than your
education.
3.
Do not deliberately speak slowly. This makes
students feel like you think they will not understand you quickly.
4.
Do not deform your teacher-student relationship.
Do not show that you are not a teacher as a friend. Here you should be in the
limelight. You are just a different method and a good teacher.
5.
Do not be too careful.
6.
You do not show them your flaws and problems. He
is at such a twilight of life, where there are many problems in his life,
people do not show that you are weak and he can not find support in you. If
they come with any problems, then mix their problems with their experience and talk
to them.
7.
If you speak slowly often, try to speak a little
faster.
8.
Do not smile much and do not smile for the whole
class. Sometimes and smile at seeing a students.

Warning
You can’t reach everyone. Be prepared for it. Yet, like a
good teacher, give them such confidence that you are just encouraging them to
become good citizens.
